Get Creative for Adult Bungalows
Many of my downsizing home clients are looking for bungalow villa half duplexes. Sometimes they can’t find many available. Depending on how the complex is set up, it may have a couple different name classifications. Sometimes they are called townhomes, sometimes they are a triplex or a quadplex. Yet they still are an attached bungalow home. You could be missing many bungalow half duplexes if you are not also searching for these other terms and others. Trust your agent as they explain all the options they will be searching. This way you make sure you don’t miss the right option for your next home.
Consider a Carriage Home
Many downsizing individuals don’t consider Carriage Homes or Coach Homes – but these can be an amazing option if you prefer a main level bungalow home. These are often stacked homes – with bungalows on the bottom level of the complex and townhomes above. These homes can be wonderful bungalow options if having a garage isn’t key for you. Many offer a parkade or carport. But you can often get lower condo fees and more square footage, often with a yard space as well.
